Love+The World-Ungodly Things+(School+Life)+Grace=?

Yes I tryed to avoid us getting sick this fall. All of our friends seemed to get sick right after school started, horrable colds don't get me started on the plegues no thank you. We were cold free until mid-October then we all had it. strep :P uggg.. We made it through, I do see homeschooling harder when they are sick. The reason for this is They know how to "Play" Mom. Yep so now it's back to the daily grind school is back. Our family trip to the pumpkin patch fell through due to sickness. bUt we did make it to trick or treating.. when I was a kids we did not go to school on halloween & for halloween night church harvest party. I want my kids to have fun, but be children of God. Dose any other Mom find that hard this day and age?. We don't want our children to be fouly influenced But if we with hold them from so much wont we be like the Pharisees?... We are to Be Fishers Of Men.. So where is the Christ-like magical spot? Kids will rebel, but it all depends on the here & now values that we put into place. The what is ok & what is Not ok. This will upset some but God has to always the Center. Not this Christmas, Easter, Mothersday thing. God has to be in our daily, Everyday life. Schooling, You must know what your kids are learning from friends, being taught if not the wolf in sheeps skin will make its way in to your childs mind. Family & strong Godly Friends, there is fare to much per-pressure with kids a good group of Godly kids is harder to knock down than just one Godly kid.. What are ways that you protect you Children with out being viewed as "overly Religious"?
